We have really started giving him more and more food and for the most part he loves it! I am still making all of his baby food and it really is a lot easier than I ever thought. The only thing we have found that he doesn't really like is carrots. He definitely has a gag reflux when you try them, BUT if you mix them with apples he is a happy man :o) His favorite has to be blueberries and bananas. It is quite the dark purple concoction, but he LOVES them! He also loves yogurt. You get the container out and he goes nuts. We are currently on a vanilla, peach, banana cream pie and strawberry banana rotation :o)
We started yogurt because right before Thanksgiving we got our first real illness. Landon had been teething so we thought he was just stuffy because of that, NOPE! The Tuesday before Thanksgiving we went to the doctor and Landon had an ear infection and bronchiolitis. So we are now the proud owners of a nebulizer machine! Landon has learned to take medicine like a champ and that is very helpful!! The doctor had us give Landon yogurt to replace the good bacteria that his anti-biotics would kill in his stomach. I think he was pretty excited that even if he was sick, this was a pretty awesome treat!
Landon's cold also helped him master sitting. I am pretty sure since the only way he could breath was sitting up, he decided that there's no better time than the present to start sitting!
He is working on the transition from sitting, to crawling. He can sit and he can crawl, but getting from one to the other can be a little difficult! We have had a lot of face plants, but this week he has discovered that if you put your hands down first it saves your face. He has been doing much better and is into everything!!!
He loves the Christmas tree and it is almost like he knows what presents are his. He goes for the same gift every time and it is one of his!
Landon is also working on pulling himself up. He has found a couple of toys or places where he can pull himself up to his knees. He doesn't really know what to do when he gets there, but he is definitely working on it. I think we will have a stander before we know it!
I said above we have two front bottom teeth. They both came in on the same day and he did awesome. We hadn't even realized he was getting them until he went to bite on Matt's finger and he felt a little pinch! Since then there has been a little more crabbiness and I think our kid drools more than anyone else in history, but bibs are great!
So that is the last month in a nut shell and here are some pictures! Merry Christmas everyone!!
